On this sacred occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated annually on October 2nd to mark the 157th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2026, Shikar Elevators Bangalore’s premier provider of custom elevators and lifts for homes and commercial spaces pays heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation and his timeless principles of truth, non-violence, simplicity, and self-reliance.

As one of India’s three official national holidays and observed globally by the United Nations as the International Day of Non-Violence, this day reminds us of the power of peaceful change, ethical business practices, and sustainable living, values that Mahatma Gandhi championed throughout his life.

At Shikar Elevators, specializing in premium home elevators, passenger lifts, and escalators with no pit, no machine room, smooth & silent operation, and 10-year warranty, we are committed to upholding Gandhiji’s vision of quality craftsmanship, honest service, and Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).

Just as Gandhiji believed in simple living and high thinking, we believe in elevating lifestyles with innovative, space-saving, and stylish elevator solutions that ensure every rise is smooth, seamless, and accessible to all principles that guide us in delivering transparent pricing, reliable performance, and long-lasting value to all our valued customers.

On this dry day (with alcohol sales suspended across India), we also honor his commitment to temperance and conscious choices.

May Gandhiji’s teachings continue to guide us toward a more peaceful, just, and harmonious future for all.

Happy Gandhi Jayanti!
